Our Key Observations:
- The KiwiSaver Top 10 still sees one Australian Equity Fund, focused on financials, joined by two Growth Funds from the same manager. For the first time in many months, a Cash Enhanced Fund has made the KiwiSaver Top 10.
- Non-KiwiSaver continues to exhibit greater diversification across the Top 10, with Indian Equities, Australian Financials, Small Companies, and Property Securities making the list. Similar to the KiwiSaver Top 10, an income fund has joined the Non-KiwiSaver Top 10.
- US and Global Share funds continue to dominate the KiwiSaver Top 10. While the Non-KiwiSaver Top 5 funds are Indian equities, Australian Financials and Property Securities, the S&P Global 100 Index, and an Income Fund, this highlights the tighter constraints KiwiSaver investment menus have, which in turn restricts the types of investment strategies available to KiwiSaver members.
