We bring you the RIPPL Leaders for the New Zealand competitor universe to highlight market trends and how funds have performed over the last 12 months.
Our key observations:
- International and US equity funds, along with two Fisher Growth funds, dominate the KiwiSaver Top 10. However, Australian Financials leads the Top 10 this month.
- The Non-KiwiSaver Top 10 remains more diversified. However, Australian and international equities dominate.
- There is a high degree of correlation between the two Top 10s in that both are currently dominated by Australian and international equities.
- The KiwiSaver Top 10 maintains a representation of diversified funds, which is the only notable difference between KiwiSaver and Non KiwiSaver this month.
- This is somewhat different from the months leading up to the USA election, where diversified funds, including Conservative and Balanced funds, were represented in the Top 10 of KiwiSaver and Non KiwiSaver products.
