December saw a weaker USD, lower unemployment in Australia, higher commodity prices, slightly lower inflation rates (though still incredibly high compared to a year earlier), a positive quarter for equity markets but volatile, higher antipodean 10 year bond yields, and an inversion of the US 2Y-10Y bond yield spread.
