Interest in ESG in Australia

In Australia, interest in ESG was relatively moderate, with participants giving an average interest rating of 6.1 out of 10 – significantly lower than the global average (6.5). Interest in the individual ESG pillars was higher than overall interest, receiving virtually the same interest ratings across three pillars (6.9 each for environmental and social issues, and 6.8 for governance issues). Nonetheless, ratings were still lower than the global average, particularly around social issues.
